Twenty-one years, brought into a quieter space.

A long career in high-performance sport — and a deliberate decision to slow it down.

Christine's Story

Christine became a physio because she loves watching people transitioning from pain to peak performance and freedom in movement. In twenty-one years, her favourite part of the work has never changed: seeing someone move from stuck, sore, and out of options to steady, capable and freedom in function.

Most of those years were spent at the sharp end of sport — from Loftus Versfeld to the Free State Cheetahs, alongside professional and international athletes across many disciplines. It taught her precision, and how much the body can do when it's understood properly.

A few things shifted recently. Christine got married, and that gave her a reason to look honestly at the pace she'd been keeping. Her previous practice was full and rewarding, but all-consuming — and it made her aware of how much the things that matter most, relationships, balance, being genuinely present, depend on protecting your time and attention.

So this practice is a deliberate slowing down. A quieter space, with room to listen properly, to simplify what feels tangled, and to be fully present with the person in front of her rather than three steps ahead. She brings everything she learned in high-performance sport into a calmer room — the same competence, without the rush.

What she hopes you feel here is simple: heard, taken seriously, and helped to move forward — not managed, and never made dependent, but equipped. A place to recover, and to leave a little more revived than when you walked in.

EXPERIENCE & CREDENTIALS

Where the work was built

  • Qualified in 2005 from Stellenbosch University — twenty-one years of clinical experience.

  • Drawn to sport from the start: volunteering at the Cape Epic as a student, and working as physiotherapist to a German cycling team at the Giro del Capo.

  • A community-service year in Qwa-Qwa, Phuthaditjhaba.

  • Then a sports practice at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria — working with professional athletes, including Springbok and BlueBulls players, and travelling with the Western Samoa team on their South African tour.

  • Four years with the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein, alongside visiting international sides from Australia and New Zealand.

  • Thirteen years in established private practice — focused on sport and orthopaedic patients, from Olympic and professional athletes to amateurs and weekend warriors — before opening this one.

Meet the team

Far Nagia

Far became a physiotherapist because she believes movement is one of the most powerful ways people reclaim their lives. Her passion has always been simple and steady: helping people move and perform optimally - whether that means returning to the field, getting through a full day without pain, or simply feeling at home in their own body again.

Born and raised in Worcester, Far’s path began early. As a student she worked with club rugby, then completed her community service at MUCPP in Bloemfontein. From there she stepped into provincial rugby with the Free State Cheetahs, where she spent nine years at the sharp end of the game. Alongside that she treated private clients and worked across other codes, including provincial cricket with the Knights, and spent eight years with Varsity Cup rugby at CUT. In 2022 she joined the SA Schools programme, and in 2024 the Junior Springboks - a period that brought two Junior World Cup titles.

Those years taught her precision, resilience, and how much the body can do when it is properly understood and carefully supported. Now she carries that high-performance experience into every consultation - the same attention to detail, the same commitment to getting people moving well, without the noise of the professional environment.

What she hopes you feel here is straightforward: cared for and properly listened to. A place where you are not rushed or reduced to a set of symptoms, but met as a whole person. Far is also passionate about self-care and living life fully, and that shapes the way she works - aiming not only for recovery, but for a sense of ease and capability that lets you step back into your days with more freedom.

Christine and Far's paths first crossed at the Free State Cheetahs — when Christine moved on, Far stepped into her role there. Two physiotherapists shaped by the same demanding corner of the game, now working side by side.

Who we work with

Three kinds of patients tend to find their way to us.
All three are equally welcome.

The athlete

Whether sport is your career or the heart of your weeks, your goals deserve to be taken seriously. We calibrate to the exact demands of your discipline — studying video, watching you train, learning a sport we don't yet know — and sit alongside your coach, biokineticist, or sports physician without friction.

The lifelong mover

You may not play a sport, but you know movement is what holds the life you want together — strong, mobile, and steady decades from now. We work on the three things that shape quality of life over time: strength, mobility, balance. Done consistently and done well, the work compounds.

The complex patient

You've been struggling for a while, and you've seen numerous medical professionals —yet you're still in the dark, still without a real answer. You may be here because someone close to you insisted on one more try. We listen, take in the whole picture, and work it out together: simplifying what's felt tangled and finding a clearer path forward — or, when someone else is better placed to help, pointing you to them.
